Happy New Year! I can’t believe I am just now posting photos from this beautiful December wedding at The Arlo! This sweet couple just recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and I loved getting a change to look back at their big day! It was such a gorgeous wedding, and I loved all the pops of hunter green that they incorporated into the design. The Arlo is always one of my favorite venues and in fact we ended last year’s wedding season there as well. Happy Anniversary Allison & Matt!

Natalia + Max at Camp Lucy

Oh my gosh, I seriously loved this couple and the mother of the groom, Lauren! They were so wonderful to work with and I mean look at how gorgeous this day was! Even with having to call the rain plan the day of everything still came together just perfectly and was absolutely gorgeous! That’s why having a great back up rain plan is so important. Thank you to Camp Lucy and Whim for all their hard work to make this one happen with lots of last-minute decisions. 🙂

Erin + Kris at Canyonwood Ridge

Erin and Kris were married at the always lovely Canyonwood Ridge this past April and it was such a special day! I really loved working with Erin and her mom to get all the planning details to match perfectly with their vision. Erin’s mom did an amazing job making a lot of the linens for the event and did a ton of research to make sure everything was just as Erin was envisioning. Monica + Ryan at The Arlo

What an amazing wedding these two had this summer at The Arlo! When I met with Monica and her mom the first time I knew I wanted to work with them. They were just the sweetest and made planning so easy. Monica knew she wanted an indoor wedding because of the summer heat so selecting the Arlo was the first step. Verbena did an amazing job on the floral and helped pull all the beautiful summer colors together. It was just gorgeous! We also pulled off a big surprise for the groom and ended the night with cold sparks from Big Dog Pyro. Everything came together just perfectly and as always Amy from AL Gawlik captured all the wonderful details. Congratulations M & R!

Veronica + Eric at Mattie’s

I really can’t believe I am just now getting around to sharing this gorgeous wedding at Mattie’s from last year! It was just absolutely stunning! The floral from Remi & Gold really was amazing and the photos from Wisteria Jade do such a great job of showcasing everything just perfectly! This sweet couple had a different date in mind when they originally booked with me but decided to move their date to December. Like most winter weddings you never know what may happen with the weather especially in Texas. It could be cold or hot, rainy or icy but thankfully we had the most perfect day for an outdoor wedding! Congratulations again V & E!

Mackenzie & Stephen had such a gorgeous spring wedding this past May at the Allan House! This sweet couple had a big move for their jobs last year, so they decided to get married at the courthouse before heading off to New Jersey. So, this past May was a big celebration and vow renewal for their family and friends. Katie + Will at Springdale Station

I love winter weddings! There is just something so special about winter weddings when the weather is finally cooler, and it gets dark earlier. I especially love holiday weddings, so I really enjoyed helping Katie and her sweet mom, Jenn plan this beautiful December wedding last year! Jenn reached out to me in late summer and said they were planning a wedding on short notice because the groom was being deployed and they wanted to get married before he left so we jumped into action and got everything booked! It helped so much that Jenn had done her research and already knew which vendors she wanted to book so we made it all happen for them. It was such a gorgeous wedding and it made me so happy that we were able to pull everything together just perfectly for this wonderful couple!

Sophia + Ryan at Addison Grove

Aren’t these two just the cutest? I loved getting to work with Sophia & Ryan and their wonderful families plan their beautiful February wedding! You just never know what you may get in Texas in February. It could be crazy cold and snowing (like we had a couple of years ago) or it could be sunny and hot but thankfully we had something right in the middle and had the most perfect weather this day. These two deserved it and more!

I always love getting to know my couples and hearing their story about how they met but Ryan & Sophia had one of my favorite stories for sure! They met several years ago while on vacation in Spain. Then they dated long distance and finally made the move to Houston together. In fact, their tour guide from Spain was there at their reception just to tell you how special this couple is!
