Victoria + Caleb at The Greenhouse at Driftwood

Victoria and Caleb had one of the most interesting weddings that I will definitely not forget! They were married at the beautiful St. Mary’s Cathedral downtown and hired us to help plan their wonderful reception at The Greenhouse at Driftwood. So we were there helping all their vendors bring together their amazing vision and praying that the forecast was wrong! They had been predicting severe thunderstorms possible that evening the entire week. Poor Victoria was so upset and we did our best to keep things positive on the outside but (not going to lie) on the inside I was worried!

Well, the day started out cloudy and overcast and then the sun broke through. The entire set up we were thrilled that everything was looking up so we went ahead as planned. All I can say, is someone was definitely watching out for us because just after we moved everyone under the tent for dinner the sky opened up. The caterers and DJ were scrambling to move their tables under the tent and we rushed out into the downpour to cover furniture but all that said it was a gorgeous wedding and definitely one I will remember forever. I mean check out the photos that Rob August captured of the storm. It was crazy!
