Lauren + Alex at Vista West Ranch

My little sister got married!! It was so much fun being in a wedding for a change and getting a chance to relax and enjoy a reception. I helped Lauren plan a lot of the pre-wedding details but let someone else take over for day of coordination. Lauren picked some amazing vendors, so I knew we were in great hands! Thank you to Angela King for being so much fun to work with as usual and for making it so easy to be in front of the lens for a change instead of trying to stay out of the way for photos. 🙂 Also, thank you to Wild Bunches for all their work on the gorgeous floral and a big thank you to PEJ Events for being just wonderful and taking such great care of Lauren & Alex on their big day!

This wedding of course was extra special because it was my sister but also because my kiddos and husband got to be a part of it as well. My daughter, Lila, was a junior bridesmaid who helped get the cute little ring bearer down the aisle and my son, Colin, walked my stepmom down the aisle. My husband got to play an even bigger part by walking my sister down the aisle alongside my brother, Logan. It was so special and it took everything I had not to cry seeing them coming down. What an amazing day! As I always tell my couples, it goes by in a flash so take it all in and that is so true! Wish I could go back and enjoy this day again and remember to take it all in.
