Stephanie + Aaron at Pecan Springs Ranch

I have a beautiful and bright summer wedding to share today. I loved working with Stephanie and Aaron and their families on this sweet wedding. These two are seriously the cutest and their entire wedding party were all the nicest and so much fun to work with!

New clients ask me all the time for something unexpected that happened at a wedding and how we handled it. Well, this wedding is going to be one of those stories from now on. 🙂 About 30 minutes before I was going to leave to head to Pecan Springs, I got a text from their bakery telling me they were sick and not able to deliver the cake. I called and told the maid of honor that I was going to stop at HEB and pick up a round cake for them to cut and some sheet cakes to have in the kitchen for the guests. Of course, I would never want this to happen to any bride but of all brides for this to happen to Stephanie was the perfect one. She took it all in stride and actually told me she loves HEB cakes, so it all worked out just fine. When I told their florist, Wild Bunches, what had happened they said don’t worry we will make the cake beautiful, and they absolutely did. Thank you to all their vendors for making this day so special!
